Why we build with steel.
Our 1½″ × 4″ steel perimeter framing has welded corners that form one unified assembly. Steel provides greater rigidity than aluminum at comparable dimensions and wall thickness. When comparing doors, look closely at the frame size and how the corners are joined.

This 36″ × 80″ door from The Frame series weighs approximately 93 lb, without its outer frame—one of our lightest configurations. Architectural and Forged Series designs add more steel through panels, bars, and decorative details, substantially increasing the weight.
